The Route – in conjunction with World Arc

World ARC is run by the World Cruising Club which is the world’s leading sailing rally specialist.

For those of you who are planning to follow or even join us, the detailed route and itinerary is… WORLD ARC – Itinerary, issue 2 (worldcruising.com)

but a short precis of our route is a circumnavigation from St Lucia to St Lucia via the Panama Canal, Galapagos, across the Pacific to Australia via lots of the Polynesian islands, then back across the Indian Ocean to South Africa before returning across the Atlantic to Brazil and finally St Lucia.

We plan to get to the Caribbean with ARC+ leaving the Canary Islands in Nov 2023 and stopping off in Cape Verde on the way. Our return route…who knows. We only have time to get to Australia and we can make it up after that!.

Our adventure on Valent will be done with World ARC. World ARC is run by the World Cruising Club (WCC) which is the world’s leading sailing rally specialist, with nine distinct rallies taking place every year.

The World ARC is a mix of cruising in company with free time to explore. The Collins family plan to make a full circumnavigation. The pace keeps the fleet together, enjoying the shore-side activities as a group, while staying with the best weather. The dedicated World ARC rally team ensure you make the most of your time ashore, and provide peace of mind at sea. World ARC is made up of boats from a broad range of countries crewed by a mixture of families with children, retirees or just those having ‘grown up gap years’.
